This is Why We Burn Out is a space to share stories, emails, posts, and moments that felt heavy, infuriating, or hard to speak aloud at the time.

It was built with curiosity more than certainty — as a way to ask: what might happen if we could see all of this in one place?

Over time, submissions will be loosely grouped by theme: licensing, grad school, supervision, access, equity, ethics, and whatever else emerges.

There’s no need for polished language or perfect structure — just honesty.

Submissions can be anonymous. Edits will only be made for clarity or privacy.
